How a North Georgia lake ended up with the best tiki bar in the mountains.
Blue Ridge Tiki Time started the way most good ideas around here do — on the water, late in the day, with somebody saying "you know what this lake needs?"
Lake Blue Ridge already had the hard part figured out. Deep green water, ridgelines in every direction, coves quiet enough to hear the paddles. What it didn't have was a proper tiki boat with an upper sun deck and a fire pit.
So we built one. String lights, a fire pit for cool mountain nights, and a captain who actually knows where the good water is. It's Southern hospitality with a rum drink in its hand.
Your captain is Andrew Burgess — born and raised on the water in southwest Florida and on a boat his entire life. He brought that saltwater know-how up to the mountains, and now he spends his days showing folks the best coves, swim spots, and sunset views on Lake Blue Ridge.
